Registration open for 20th annual Connecting the Dots conference

Six free Zoom webinars to focus on well-being, resilience and personal growth

Registration is open for the 20th annual University of Michigan Connecting the Dots conference, which will offer six free Zoom webinars centered on well-being, personal growth and community support.

“We’re especially excited to celebrate the 20th year of Connecting the Dots,” said Christine Snyder, director of UHR Child and Family Care. “We hope you can join us to explore new ideas for feeling your best — both at work and at home.

“Whether you’re interested in nature’s benefits, financial tips, family support, better sleep or planning for the future, there’s something for everyone at our special anniversary event.”

All U-M faculty, staff and students are encouraged to register for any or all sessions to mark this special anniversary. Registration can be completed on the Connecting the Dots conference website.

The U-M Connecting the Dots conference will take place Oct. 28-30 with the following webinar sessions:

Tuesday, Oct. 28:

  • Leveraging Nature-Based Interventions for Mental and Physical Well-Being, 10 to 11:15 a.m.
  • Financial Well-Being: Tools and Strategies for Resilience, 2 to 3:15 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 29:

  • Influencing Change at Any Level, 10 to 11:15 a.m.
  • Feeling Sandwiched? Tools for Navigating Family Caregiving, 2 to 3:15 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 30:

  • The Sleep Revolution: Improving Your Well-Being Through Optimizing Sleep, 10 to 11:15 a.m.
  • The Retirement Mosaic, 2 to 3:15 p.m.
