Huntington National Bank is U-M’s official consumer bank
Huntington National Bank has been selected as the University of Michigan’s official consumer bank, enabling Huntington to offer a variety of benefits and banking services to the more than 100,000 students, faculty and staff at UM-Ann Arbor.
Under the agreement, Huntington is providing financial support over the life of the contract for scholarships and sponsorships of student organizations as well as opportunities for students through its internship and RISE — Recognizing Individuals for Sustained Excellence — programs aimed at introducing students to careers in financial services.

Students, faculty and staff have the option of linking their MCard to a Huntington checking account so it can be used as a debit card. The bank is also partnering with university departments to help invest in additional financial literacy programs designed to help members of the U-M community lead financially successful lives.
Benefits offered to U-M students, faculty and staff under the agreement include premium interest-bearing checking accounts with no monthly maintenance fees, mortgage closing costs discounts, six ATMs on campus, and a variety of other account services and products.

Huntington has approximately 300 branches across the state of Michigan and operates eight branches in or near Ann Arbor.
